About Artist

Takashi Ueno

Born in Kanagawa in 1981.
Ueno successfully received a prize in In-ten, Nihon Bijutsuin Arts Academy Exhibition for the first time when he was a graduate school student of Tokyo University of the Arts.
Besides In-ten where his art activities usually take place, as a selected artist, he participates in "The mainstream of Nihonga" exhibition with other young artists from various art groups. There he presents artworks reflecting contemporary atmosphere.
In his picture, eye sights cross to form a scenery beyond a double image. Rather, it has an emotional tranquility as though each picture motifs are cooperating together.
