I feel painting pictures or watching them are both likea journey.
The space I wish to express in my painting is not something very far from us. It is a special space yet close to reality that condenses and forms our emotions. It islike a world in▪between our thoughts and day dreams where reality and illusion coexists. I am painting in search for this boundary.
The festivals, theatres or foreign cultures are the world which makes us feel special in our daily life. It involves crossing of times we have experienced and coexistence of self and others. It could indicate fusion of cultures as well. This is the reason I tend to put these factors in my artworks.

In the sunlit afternoon when winter turns into spring, there are times when the world seems so quiet and pure white. The gentle piano music of Glenn Gould sounds.
Such a relaxing tranquility seems to be the atmosphere I created my artworks I recall from time to time.
