We are pleased to present the 8th Will+s Exhibition.
In 2016, the young artists of Soga-kai group and Sogo & Seibu Co., Ltd have jointly launched the new exhibition. Named “Will+s”, it aims to voice artists’ and our will to the world. This has realized through the cooperation between the young artists who are highly motivated in presenting their works in the pursuit of their own arts and Sogo & Seibu which has been promoting cutting-edge artworks.
Total 34 artworks of Soga-kai members and young artists have participated for this exhibition among which the best artwork was awarded.

Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts nurture artists that take the role in the field of traditional arts & crafts, pursuing both the universal and individual beauty which Okinawan Culture has fostered.
In this exhibition, its professors/researchers who are envolved in the restoration study of Shurijo Castle and its cultural assets represent their nihonga, sculpture and lacquerware artworks. The restoration process of the Ryukyu Kingdom heritage will also be displayed in the panels.
On the same week, Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts related artists represent paintings and arts & crafts for the daily use at the Art Gallery on the 4th Floor.
A part of the proceeds made at this exhibition will be donated to “Shurijo Castle Fund” organization.
